This simple braking system allows studies to be carried out on 1500W rotating machines (alternating or direct current). It consists of a control box to be placed on a table and a SCHNEIDER BRUSHLESS motor to be integrated into a test bench. The motor applies a resistive torque controlled directly by the potentiometer on the front of the control box. The energy generated by braking is dissipated by a braking resistor. It is also possible to perform locked rotor tests.
This system is completely maintenance-free.
